TECHNOLOGY

We use a combination of more than 250 different short tandem repeat (STR) markers to definitively measure biological relationships. This allows the most reliable results commercially available for measuring biological relationships such as paternity, grandparentage or siblingship. Because our laboratories also provide ancestry, research, and forensic DNA testing services, we draw from a wide range of tools and technology to answer questions of identity and relatedness.

Laboratory management includes experienced PhD laboratory directors, MS scientists and exectuive officers dedicated to providing the best possible DNA testing experience.

ACCURACY

DNA paternity test results offer very high levels of accuracy and regularly generate probabilities greater than 99.99% for inclusions and 100% for exclusions. We routinely provide strongly supported, conclusive results for more distant relationships, such as grandparentage and siblingship.

FAST RESULTS

The laboratory generates results for most paternity tests within 3-5 business days. (Prenatal DNA testing and other DNA tests may take up 8 weeks.) Completed DNA test results instantly upload to our online database, allowing immediate access for consumers. DNA test reports are designed to be easily read and understood. We also maintain a staff of knowledgeable DNA Test Consultants and laboratory scientists to answer questions about results or the DNA testing process.
